Office Enhancements

We are making every effort to make your visit to Passolt Street Family Dental a safe and comfortable experience. We have implemented the American Dental Association (ADA) and the CDC recommendations for a dental office as follows:

Air Filtration –  Dr. McMall has added the Jade Air Purification System to rooms within her dental office facility. The Jade Purification System provides 6-Stages of air filtration including proprietary HEPA-Rx ultra-fine filtration.  The multi-stage filtration system captures air pollutants, filtering 99.998% of particles down to 0.1 microns (the typical size of a virus). This system has been implemented by more than 10,000 dentists across the United States.  

Removal Of Droplets and Aerosols Created During Dental Treatment – Dr. McMall has purchased the ADS Extraoral Dental Suction System for the practice. This dental vacuum effectively removes the droplets and aerosols produced during dental treatment.   

Infection Control

We have always maintained rigorous infection control measures at Passolt Street Family Dentistry. The use of PPE (personal protective equipment) are standard procedures in our dental office. We want to protect our staff, you and your family at all times. Our staff have been trained in the most up to date policies and procedures in this COVID environment.  

These precautions include:

• Disinfectant hand soap
• Water-free alcohol rub
• Gloves, masks, and face shields
• Chemical disinfection of all countertops and dental equipment
• Chemical disinfection of the reception area, treatment rooms and restrooms
• Autoclave sterilization for all dental instruments which kills ALL bacteria and viruses
• Use of disposable items as much as possible
